:: The Enterprise Challenge (TEC) ::
The Enterprise Challenge (TEC) is an initiative driven by the Prime Minister's Office that provides funding for testing innovative ideas that have the potential to improve the delivery of public services.
The Enterprise Challenge charts a milestone in the Singapore Public Service's journey to excellence through Innovation and Enterprise. TEC heralds a new way of working in the Public Service by nurturing and harvesting radical and disruptive innovations for a better tomorrow.
Our fundamental premise: promising ideas abound. They come from everywhere. Those that are submitted to TEC are individually assessed for their potential.
TEC identifies ideas with promise - those deemed to have the potential of being radically unique and untried with potential to provide significant value creation to the Public Service. These ideas would be carefully selected, groomed and matched to appropriate test beds in the Public Service. They will then be nurtured, with the aim of experimentation on the appropriate test beds within the Public Service
